Universities Transport Study Group 36th Annual Conference Smeed Prize
Jonathan Crockett a PhD student within the Transportation Research Group has been awarded the Smeed Prize for the best student paper at the 36th Universities Transport Studies Group Annual Conference. The conference took place between the 5th and 7th of January 2004 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
The research upon which the paper was based has concentrated upon rail passenger user needs and in particular issues associated with access/egress to and from the station, station facilities & environment and interchange between train services.
