  1. Road geometry and surface data (Infrastructure):
    • number of lanes;
    • change in number of lanes;
    • presence of on/off ramp;
    • presence of weaving section;
    • width of the right (and left) shoulder;
    • presence of emergency phones;
    • Toll area;
    • presence of a viaduct, bridges;
    • presence of a baffle board / other type of visible barriers close to roadway;

  2. Vehicle attributes (Classes of vehicles: Public, private, emergency, HOV):
    • Length and width
    • Maximum desired speed
    • Minimum distance between vehicles
    • Fuel consumption
    • Emission parameters

  3. Traffic data (per direction, and, when available, per lane):
    • mean speed of all vehicles per minute, per direction and lane;
    • mean volume per minute;

    • mean speed difference between cars and trucks;
    • density;
    • volume / capacity ratio;
    • standard deviation of the mean speed;

  4. Incident data:
    • location and direction of traffic, where the incident occurred;

    • time and place of occurrence;
    • length of queue (each time unit);

    • weather conditions (e.g. visibility, precipitation, wind);
    • condition of the road surface (e.g. dry, wet or black ice/snow).

  7. Data of Construction Phase:
    • road works;
    • construction events.
