The Winchester test site will be used to test the U06 ID algorithm and rules set developed for the Southampton test site. This provides an opportunity to undertake an on-line trial of the U06 ID rule base designed for one network on an unseen series of roads in a new area.
The testing will determine the numbers of true incidents detected and the false alarm rate associated with those detections. Using the same methodology implemented at the Southampton site, an operator log will be designed to record all triggers reported by U06 ID. |
